Job Description:

Right Track Specialists provide free, in-home developmental screenings for children ages birth to three, as well as parenting information/support, activities to promote development, and community referrals. Specialists are responsible for scheduling home visits, completing required documentation, and providing their own transportation to and from home visits.

 

Preference is for Specialists to have a degree in early childhood or a related field and experience working with infants and toddlers. We are particularly interested in hiring for Emmons, Kidder, and Burleigh Counties. We may also have an opening for someone who has a passion for early literacy to provide Right Track and Raising a Reader events/home visits for families in Bismarck.

 

Right Track is grant funded through the Department of Health and Human Services and the number of home visits per year are allocated by the State. Employment of Right Track Specialists is dependent on funding. Specialists are paid by the home visit (local visit - $46 plus mileage and rural visit - $56 plus mileage) and primarily work from home. Specialists see families throughout most of Region VII - Burleigh, Morton, Kidder, Emmons, McLean, Sheridan, Mercer, Grant, and Oliver counties.
