Job Description:

Mandan Public Schools is currently seeking a Work-based Learning Coordinator. This position is an 11 month/full time position from August - June.  Full benefit package is included - https://cloud.3dissue.net/40523/40433/40876/99675/index.html
 

Position Summary:

Under basic supervision, provides MPS students with personalized employment experiences with various businesses and organizations within the community. Provide educational opportunities in conjunction with work-based learning opportunities.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Build relationships with various businesses and organizations that would help hire on high school students in a work-based learning environment.
Work with individual high school students to place them in various WBL settings.
Complete all paperwork and requirements to place students in WBL opportunities.
Monitor students WBL sites, check in with supervisors at sites, complete check-ins with students.
Maintain strict records, files, and documentation on each student placed.
Participate in WBL professional development trainings and other professional development opportunities.

Heart River CTE Director
 

Knowledge of:

MPS policies and procedures.
Safety rules and regulations.
Personal computers, and specialized software applications for educational systems.
Record keeping and file maintenance principles and procedures.
 

License and Certification Requirements:
A valid North Dakota State Driver’s License may be required.

Salary Range    -$59,581.00 - $65,405.00 / Per Year
