SUMMARY
Under basic supervision, supervises the delivery and receipt of supplies and materials; maintains
warehouse and records, and organize inventory of textbooks and supplies.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Operates a vehicle to deliver and pick up supplies and materials.
• Receives materials and supplies for warehouse; reconciles packing list with purchase order, and inspects deliveries for damages; assists in loading and unloading freight trucks.
• Reviews and fills stock requisitions, and organizes supplies and materiel for distribution.
• Organizes and maintains order in the warehouse; stacks and stores materials in appropriate areas; organizes textbooks, workbooks, and supplies by categories; rotates inventory for effective distribution.
• Supports the relationship between the Minot Public School District and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with clients, visitors, and District staff; maintains absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, client records, and District information; follows compliance rules governing child abuse; performs related duties as required or assigned.
• Operates a powered forklift and other equipment; moves material according to work order.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training, and Experience Guidelines
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge of:
• MPS policies and procedures.
• Safety rules and regulations, and safety precautions in a warehouse environment
• Standard shipping, receiving, records management, and inventory control practices and procedures.
• Local geographical area, road systems, and city and state traffic regulations.
Skill in:
• Effectively organizing, stocking, and issuing supplies and equipment.
• Following and enforcing verbal and written instructions, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with co-workers.
• Communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
A valid North Dakota State Driver’s License is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in an office and warehouse work environment; with moderate physical demands; and frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of materials and equipment.
This position is subject to veteran's preference.

Salary Range -$24.92 - $24.92 / Per Hour
Shift Type -Full-Time
