Grand Forks Public School District is seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. The School Psychologist will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and social-emotional development of our students. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and intervention skills, a deep understanding of psychological principles, and a passion for contributing to the overall well-being of students.
Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation:
Conduct psychological assessments to identify and address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
Interpret assessment results to stakeholders, including educators, parents, and administrators.
Counseling and Intervention:
Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issues.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies.
Consultation:
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Provide consultation on academic and behavioral interventions.
Crisis Intervention:
Respond to and participate in crisis intervention as needed, providing support to students and staff.
Professional Development:
Stay current on research and best practices in school psychology.
Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Completed no less than a 500-clock-hour supervised internship with school-age persons.
Licensed as a school psychologist in the state of North Dakota.
Nationally Certified School Psychologist through the National Association of School Psychologists.
Valid teaching certificate with one or more special education endorsements.

Salary Range -$54,322.00 - $72,908.00 / Per Year
