Job Description:

New England Public School is seeking a dedicated and passionate 7-12 History Teacher to join our team. As a JH/High School Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students by providing quality education and fostering their intellectual and personal growth.

Duties:

- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Provide instruction to Junior High and Hish School students in history classes
- Use effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement educational programs
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Valid North Dakota teaching license
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with intervention practices for students with special needs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
