Job Description:
The Speech Language Pathologist position with WilMac Multidistrict Special Education Unit can vary dependent upon assignment.
SLPs, regardless of assignment, will conduct screenings and diagnostic evaluations of students, work with children with a wide range of disabilities, and provide direct and indirect therapy to students.
Services are provided to students ages 3 through 21 throughout the special education unit.
As taken from ASHA's list of duties expected in an education facility an SLP may be expected to do the following:
SLPs within WilMac may be assigned to one school building or be itinerant and travel between schools and/or districts. Please let us know if you have any specific grade/location preference and we will do our best to work with you!
This position requires a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and the following (or ability to obtain): License to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of North Dakota and North Dakota Teacher's License in Speech Language Pathology.
Currently, WilMac is only looking for in-person Speech Language Pathologists.
WilMac was established in 1980 as a collaboration of special education services for public schools in northwestern North Dakota. Currently, there are eleven member school districts ranging from a one-room schoolhouse to an almost 6,000 student school district.
The locations of our member schools can be found in the following cities; Alexander, Cartwright, East Fairview, Grenora, Mandaree, Ray, Tioga, Trenton, Watford City, and Williston.
