Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Speech Language Pathology Assistant/Paraprofessional (SLPA/SLPP) is to work under the direction of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to assist in supplementing, enhancing, and extending speech services to students within our member districts.

Those with an SLPLA license from the NDSBE on Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology will still need to obtain the SLPP Certificate from NDDPI as it is required by the state to work in the schools.
WilMac was established in 1980 as a collaboration of special education services for public schools in northwestern North Dakota. Currently, there are eleven member school districts ranging from a one-room schoolhouse to an almost 6,000 student school district.
