Facility Maintenance and Building Coordinator

The role of the Facility Maintenance and Building Coordinator is to provide various maintenance services, ensure completion of facility projects, perform various skilled maintenance activities, and coordinate both internal and external building use. Ideal candidate would also manage and lead custodial team. 

Minimum Qualifications Skills

• Perform skilled maintenance in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical trades. 
• Ability to use hand and power tools skillfully and safely. 
• Operate a variety of equipment and machinery. 
• Operate and maintain motor vehicles as necessary.
• Effective communication and leadership skills 

Knowledge 

• Understanding of methods and practices in various trades; including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Awareness and understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Establishing and knowing requirements for maintaining school buildings in a safe, clean, and orderly condition. 

Abilities
