LOCATION: Turtle Mountain Community High School
EVALUATION: As required by NDSCC and Belcourt School District #7 policy
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must meet the qualifications for the position, which include:
Certification/Licenses:
Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
Must have a favorable Background Check.
Must be willing to obtain a certificate of completion for the “Intro to Coaching” course via NFHS.
Must be willing to obtain a certificate of completion for “Concussion Management.”
Must be willing to obtain a certificate of completion for “CPR/First Aid.”
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Experience and Skills:
A working knowledge of baseball programs, including proper training techniques, game rules, and injury treatment.
Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and encourage student-athletes.
Successful applicants must have a favorable background check according to district policy.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assistant Baseball Coach will:
Assist the Head Baseball Coach in developing and maintaining the baseball program.
Provide training, coaching, and guidance to student-athletes.
Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and proper conduct among team members.
Ensure compliance with all rules and guidelines set forth by NDHSAA and Turtle Mountain Community Schools.
Help monitor student-athlete eligibility and academic performance.
Support game-day preparations, including equipment setup and field maintenance.
Attend rules and coaching clinics as required by NDHSAA.
Maintain an inventory of team equipment and uniforms.
Supervise athletes during practices, games, and travel.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.
RANGE OF SALARY: Based on Athletic Department Salary Schedule 2024/2025
