Job Description:

Oakes Public School is seeking a Full Time High School Social Studies teacher with or without coaching.  OPS is an innovative school district with an enrollment of approximately 500 students K-12. We employ standards-based learning. We are looking for a collaborative team player that is willing to continually grow as an educator and provide our students with the essential skills for their success. 

Proper licensing for the state of North Dakota is required.  This full-time position with or without coaching positions(s) responsibilities include but not limited to: 
Directing and managing the overall program of social studies in grades 9-12 
Planning and preparation for student learning 
Classroom management  
Family and community outreach 
Assessment of student progress and goals 
Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff and the school community 
Proficient communication skills and technologies
