Job Description:

Thompson Public School is seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young learners. The ideal candidate will provide developmentally appropriate instruction, focusing on foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills. Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment, and collaboration with colleagues and parents to support student growth and success. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education
• North Dakota teaching license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Experience on coursework in early childhood literacy and numeracy preferred

TPS offers a competive base salary and the school pays over 20% of TFFR in a 184 day contract.
