Job Description:

Thompson Public School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered 3rd Grade Teacher to foster academic and personal growth in a supportive classroom environment.  The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction across core subject areas, emphasizing reading comprehension, writing, mathematics, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom mangement, student assessment, and collaboration with colleagues and families to promote student success.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education
• North Dakota Teaching License (or ability to obtain)
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills
• Experience or coursework in differentiated instruction and student engagment strategies

TPS offers a competive base salary and the school pays over 20% of TFFR in a 184 day contract. The school district also offers a full single health insurance policy to certified staff.  Personal, Sick, Bereavement, Emergency, and Professional Leave are also part of the negotiated agreement.  Supplemental insurance options also available.
