Job Description:

Barnes County North School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Physical Education Teacher to join our team. This position provides an exciting opportunity to engage students in physical activities that promote lifelong fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, develop age-appropriate physical education curriculum, and inspire students to lead active, healthy lifestyles.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum aligned with state standards.
• Teach fundamental movement skills, fitness concepts, and sportsmanship.
• Foster a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere for all students.
• Collaborate with school staff to promote student wellness initiatives.
• Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetings.

Pursuant to the teacher agreement - $43,000 base (Permanent) + Benefits include: full single health policy or flex benefit, TFFR, long-term disability, sick leave, personal leave, and other benefits as listed on the negotiated agreement. (Negotiating for 2025-2026 school year.)
