Job Description:
Assistant Girls' Hockey Coach
Date of Contract: November 10, 2025 – February 27, 2026
Position Summary:
The assistant coach is responsible for helping the head coach organize the high school girls' hockey program. The assistant coach helps oversee practices, motivating students, and instructing student athletes in game strategies and techniques.
Essential Functions:
Instruct athletes in fundamentals, develop character, model expected behavior.
Provide support for feeder programs.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a hockey coach at the high school or college level preferred. Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills. Must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.
