Job Description:

2025-2026 School year; 186 contract days, 100% FTE

Location: Mandan Middle School

Position Summary:
Mandan Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Middle School Interventionist Instructor for the 2025-2026 school year.  The instructor will be responsible for identification and implementation of individualized academic interventions for at risk students.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assist in coordinating MTSS and At-Risk processes to support student academic success. 
Analyze and track student data to inform instructional decisions. 
Plan, implement, and monitor targeted academic interventions for students in need. 
Provide small group and individualized academic interventions. 
Support teachers in differentiating instruction based on student progress data. 
Collect, analyze, and interpret student performance data to adjust interventions. 
Maintain accurate documentation of intervention plans and student progress. 
Assist with benchmark and progress-monitoring assessments. 
Provide guidance training, and supervision for paraprofessionals assisting with interventions. 
Work alongside teachers to integrate research-based reading strategies into classroom instruction.
Collaborate in professional learning communities to support literacy development
 

Reports to:
Middle School Principal
 
Qualifications:
Must hold appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board.
 
Employment requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.

A state and federal background check will be conducted on the final candidate.

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Requirements
Bachelor degree preferred.



Other:

Salary: Starting $53,800 for Bachelors degree; starting $55,322 for Master's degree (Salary based on 2023-2025 Negotiated Rates; 2025-2027 Negotiated Rates are yet to be Determined). Full benefit package included.
