Job Description:

Starting Date: Aug 11, 2025

Devils Lake Public High School is accepting applications to fill 2 Special Education teaching positions. You will be teaching 9-12th-grade students starting the 2025/26 school year. 

Job Goals: 
Helping children to develop to their fullest potential and help in the transition from grade to grade.

You will be required to use effective communication skills while working with both students and adults within the organizational setting.  Be neat in appearance, reliable in work attendance and fulfill district professional growth requirements.

Qualifications:
Must have B.A. in Education with a valid ND teaching License.
Stegeist credential preferred; will accept certification in SLD, ED, or ID. Will also accept teacher with an education degree who are willing to secure additional certification or degree. 
Special Education Credential (or ability to obtain credential).
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Reliable in terms of good work attendance, punctuality and work ethic.
