Job Description:

Starkweather Public School is seeking a qualified and certified music instructor for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. Our school values individualized attention, creativity, and a supportive learning environment. With a student body of approximately sixty students grades K-12, you'll have the opportunity to truly make a difference and foster meaningful connections. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to nurturing young minds, fostering a love for music, and creating a positive and engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons catering to the diverse needs of students in all grade levels.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative teaching strategies to inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student learning and development.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support growth and achievement.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends and best practices.

 Housing is available to rent in Starkweather. Other housing options include Cando and Devils Lake which are both approximately 20 miles from Starkweather. DOE; Base Salary $55,500. Retirement 12.75% of TFFR, full single health insurance policy, and life insurance.
