English & Language Arts Instructor

2025-2026 School year; 186 contract days, 100% FTE

Location: Mandan Middle School

Position Summary:
Mandan Public Schools is currently seeking an 8th grade English & Language Arts Instructor for the 2025-2026 school year.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Instruction of ELA curriculum
Active member of 8th grade team
Technology integration through the Canvas platform
Active participation in Professional Learning Community
 
Reports to:
Middle School Principal
 
Qualifications:
Must hold an appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board.

Employment requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.

A state and federal background check will be conducted on the final candidate.

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Requirements
Bachelor degree preferred.
Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Salary: Starting $54,650 for Bachelors degree; starting $56,172 for Master's degree. Full benefit package included.
