Credentials: High School Diploma

Pay Classification: Classified staff, hourly pay per district wage scale

Job Type:  Full-time (35-40 hours per week) for 9 months

Reports to:  Business Manager

Qualifications:  Positive human relations skills.  Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.  Experience with a variety of computer applications (Google, Microsoft Office).  Knowledge of records management systems.

Position Purpose:  Perform duties that assist the Business Manager, Superintendent and Principal in the operation of the school.

Job Duties:  (Include but not limited to the following)

·         Function as school building secretary, promoting positive interactions with students, staff and parents.

·         Assist with the maintenance of school records and student transcripts.

·         Maintain student and staff confidentiality in all circumstances.

·         Perform clerical duties such as managing and directing inquiries, filing, mail, operating the electronic door system, and scheduling appointments on a daily basis.

·         Track attendance and absences for students Power School software and generate reports accordingly.

·         Perform general bookkeeping functions; collect and receipt revenues including student fees, participation fees, gate receipts, and fund-raising activities; create cash boxes for student activities

·         Provide general first aid and medication as needed. (Training is required).

·         Facilitate purchases of general supplies and equipment.

·         Facilitate communication between students, staff and parents for student transportation needs.

·         Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Manager, Superintendent and Principal.
