Job Description:

Edgeley Public School is seeking applicants for a Late Fall Season Elementary Boys' Basketball Coach (1 position). Applicants must possess skills to teach young children, as this position is for grades 5 & 6.  Applicants must also have foundational knowledge of the skills needed in the sport to be successful.  

In addition:
Skills in the fundamentals of basketball.
Organizational skills to manage practices and events.
Ability to communicate effectively with elementary-aged students and their parents
Demonstrates commitment to a positive, competitive, flexible program. 
Assist and be accountable to the overall program. 
Accompanies, supervises, and directs the assigned team to all games and practices. 
Exemplifies good sportsmanship and is held to the same sportsmanship expectations as the team. 

The season runs from October to mid-November but is dependent upon practice and game schedules. Salary is based on experience.
