Job Description:

Location:  Berg Elementary School

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Knowledge of the process, procedures, and methods associated with food preparation and nutrition.
2. Ability to work with personnel.
3. Such additions to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Head Cook and Building Principal

JOB GOAL:
To provide a nutritious and pleasing menu for students and faculty.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 
1. Insures that lunchrooms and kitchen cleanliness standards are adhered to.
2. Prepares food daily.
3. Performs other duties as needed and assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Normally 6 hours per day/ 5 days per week - 175 working days (school year) with 7 paid holidays. 

EVALUATION: A performance review will be conducted annually in accordance with the provisions established by the administration and the Board.

WAGE: $17.25 - $19.75 per hour DOE

Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education in accordance with the Classified Salary & Benefit Package.
