Job Description:

Legacy High School is seeking a dedicated and motivated Head Swim & Dive Coach to lead and develop our student-athletes in a competitive, positive, and supportive environment. The coach will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the swim and dive program, including skill development, practice and meet planning, team management, and fostering sportsmanship and character growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and conduct practices and meets for both swim and dive athletes.

Teach proper technique, conditioning, and strategy for skill improvement and safety.

Foster a positive team culture focused on respect, discipline, and academic success.

Supervise assistant coaches and collaborate with school administration.

Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff.

Ensure compliance with district, state, and NDHSAA regulations.

Qualifications:
Previous coaching and/or competitive swimming/diving experience preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to inspire student-athletes to achieve both in and out of the pool.

Must meet Legacy High School and NDHSAA coaching requirements.

Please note - Coaches who hold a ND teaching license - wages are reportable to the North Dakota Teacher's Fund for Retirement (TFFR).  The employee (coach) will contribute 11.75% of their salary and the District will contribute 12.75%.

Salary: $5,827 to $7,866 Monthly
