Job Description:

The Grafton Public School District is seeking a qualified Business Manager to oversee the district's financial operations, budgeting, payroll, purchaing and reporting.

This full time position is responsible for the overall financial management and business operations of the district. Including but not limited to:

• Managing all district financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, payroll, purchasing and reporting
• Preparing financial statements, reports and data for the superintendent, school board and auditiors
• Oversees accounts payable/receivable and federal and state program reporting
• Administering employee benefits, insurance and payroll functions
• Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations
• Working collaborately with district leadership to maintain fiscal responsibility and transparency

A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance is required. Experience in school or governmental accounting is preferred.

Qualifications include strong organizational, analytical, and communications skills with proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets and accounting systems.  Must be able to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
