2026-2027 School year; 186 contract days, 100% FTE

Location: Mandan High School

Position Summary:
Mandan Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a High School English Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year.  The instructor should be qualified to teach 9-12th grade english courses.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Delivery of ELA standards within the designated curriculum
Ability to collaborate within a Professional Learning Community
Build and maintain positive relationships with students
Active participant in the MTSS and SEL programs
Advisor to the school newspaper
 
Reports to:
High School Principal

Qualifications:
Must hold an appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board with a Special Education Endorsement or be eligible for a plan on file.

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required

Salary: Starting $55,550 for Bachelors degree; starting $57,072 for a Master's degree. Full benefit package included.
