POSITION: Transportation & Grounds Assistant
Full-time: 12-month position (40 hours per week)

Reports to: Director of Transportation and Grounds 

Qualifications: Must have an ND school bus driver's endorsement 

Goal: To provide safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school and school events, assist with the maintenance of district vehicles, and assist with the care of the school district grounds. 

THE MAJOR DUTIES OF THE TRANSPORTATION AND GROUNDS ASSISTANT  INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 
Follow the instructions of the Superintendent of Schools and Director of Transportation and Grounds. 
Follow all duties listed in the bus driver's job description. 
Assist the Director of Transportation and Grounds with the maintenance of all school district-owned vehicles. 
Assist the Director of Transportation and Grounds with the maintenance of all school district-owned grounds.
Serve as the lead contact person for the transportation and grounds department when the Director is unavailable. 
Other duties assigned by the Superintendent of Schools and the Director of Transportation and Grounds

Hourly Rate - TBD with a minimum of $20/hour
