Jamestown Public Schools is looking to hire a JVCTC Building Trades Instructor for the 2026-2027 School Year. 

Summary:
Jamestown Public Schools is seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on Building Trades Instructor for our Career & Technical Center. The successful candidate will provide engaging, skills-based instruction in residential and light commercial construction, including carpentry, framing, blueprint reading, safety practices, and the proper use of tools and equipment. This position focuses on preparing students with industry-aligned skills, employability habits, and potential certifications for careers in the construction field. Candidates should have relevant trade experience, a strong commitment to student success, and the ability to create a safe, structured, and real-world learning environment. Teaching licensure or the ability to obtain CTE certification is required.

Qualifications:
North Dakota teaching certification or willingness to obtain CTE Certification
Minimum of 3-5 years of professional construction experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
