Job Description:

Oakes Public School is seeking a Full-Time 4th-6th grade English Language Arts Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. OPS is a forward-thinking school district serving 400+ students in grades K–12. Our instructional systems emphasize personalized learning, clear proficiency targets, and timely intervention, and we continue refining those practices to ensure strong alignment and sustained learner growth. We are looking for a collaborative team member who is committed to continuous growth and who will utilize personalized instructional practices to ensure learners develop the essential skills needed for long-term success.

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·       Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction

·       Establish and maintain a structured, positive learning environment

·       Use formative and summative assessment data to guide instruction and intervention

·       Participate in collaborative PLC processes and school improvement efforts

·       Communicate effectively with families and the school community

·       Integrate appropriate instructional technologies

·       Contribute positively to the overall school culture

·       Optional coaching opportunities

Proper North Dakota licensure is required.

Salary and benefits include:
