The person hired for this position will be responsible for K-12 music instruction.

Trenton School (Eight Mile School District #6) is seeking a K-12 Music Teacher for the 202-2027 school year and beyond. Those interested in applying must possess or be able to possess prior to hire, a teaching license from the State of North Dakota, with credentials in mathematics.

Trenton is a small community about 15 miles south and west of Williston, ND in the heart of the vibrant "oil patch" region. In addition, we are a small school with roughly 315students in grades K-12 in the same building. The person hired for this position will be responsible for instruction in music for students in grades K-12. Elementary music meets on a once-per-week basis, grades 6-12 on an every-day-basis.

Trenton School operates on a four-day school week, provides a regionally competitive salary based on years of teaching experience and educational background; excellent benefits including roughly 90% of single health insurance paid by the district; and on-campus and near-campus housing for those who would like to live close, at far below local rental costs and with all utility costs paid by the district. In addition to this, Trenton pays both shares of teacher retirement, which currently comes to 24.5% of the teacher's monthly salary provided at no cost to the teacher.
