Successful School and Life Skills Instructor

2026-2027 School year; 186 contract days, 100% FTE

Location: Mandan Middle School. 

Position Summary:
Mandan Public Schools is currently seeking to hire a SSLS Instructor.  The SSLS course is designed to address the challenges that students experience in a middle school, so they can succeed in the classroom as well as obtain skills needed to be successful in higher grade levels. Course topics may include communication skills; personal assessment and awareness activities; test-taking/study skills; time management; choices and consequences; technology, business, and financial literacy. Additional topics can also include exercises designed to generate organized, logical thinking, and writing skills to help with oral and written presentations.

Qualifications:
Must hold an appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board. 

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Requirements
Bachelor degree preferred.
Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Salary: Starting $55,550 for a Bachelor's degree; starting $57,072 for a Master's degree. Full benefit package included.
