Job Description:

LOCATION and GRADE: Jefferson Grades 3-4
Final teaching assignments will be decided based on student enrollment. 

POSITION PURPOSE: The Lead Teacher serves as an instructional leader within the Team Teaching and Learning Model, providing direct support to teachers through coaching, modeling, and collaborative planning. This role is designed to strengthen instructional practices, accelerate teacher development, and improve student outcomes. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be licensed or be able to obtain the North Dakota Educator's Certificate.
 
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 185-day contract with some extra days starting in August 2026

Other:

SALARY: Determined from the 2025-2027 Professional Negotiated Agreement. The salary range is $48,922 - $69,047, depending on education and experience.
