Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Teacher to join our middle/high school faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop strong critical thinking skills in the areas of health and science, foster a high level of curiosity, establish a strong scientific foundation, and create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based science and health lessons for students in 6-8.
Develop 21st Century skills in student in the science field.
Create and assess assignments, projects, and assessments to monitor and support student progress.
Foster a supportive and respectful classroom culture that encourages academic growth and creativity.
Integrate technology and multimedia resources to enhance instruction.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and school-wide initiatives.
Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Uphold school policies, values, and expectations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
Valid teaching certification for middle and/or high school English (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and meeting the needs of diverse learners.
Enthusiasm for working with adolescents and supporting their academic and personal growth.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
Familiarity with current educational technology and learning management systems.
Knowledge of Common Core or state standards.
Ability to sponsor or support extracurricular activities, clubs, or writing competitions is a plus.
