Job Description:

The English Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging instruction in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and literature. The teacher fosters critical thinking, effective communication skills, and a lifelong appreciation for language and literature while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student success.

Teacher would teach students in grades 7 - 12.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Valid state teaching license/certification in English Language Arts.
• Strong knowledge of literature, writing instruction, grammar, and language development.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Base salary of $45,000. 4% of teachers side of TFFR is paid by district. $9546 applied to health insurance or can be taken in lieu of cash. 10 sick days accumulative to 180. 5 personal days
