Job Description:

Purpose Statement
The job of School Psychologist Assistant is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the school psychology department with specific responsibilities for performing a variety of job duties including assessments, clerical tasks, establishing and maintaining department and/or student records; coordinating assigned projects; and compiling and distributing a wide variety of materials and reports.

Essential Functions:
Administration and scoring for the purpose of informal checklists.
Assists with file reviews for the purpose of re-evaluations in which the students are in highly prevalent categories without significant confounding concerns. With training and form to complete.
Collects data collection for the purpose of completing fidelity checks.
Completes tasks for the purpose of problem solving.
Completes for the purpose of case records, documentation,and release of information.
Completion and follow up for the purpose of identified assessment tasks.
Conducts observations and drafts for the purpose of the narrative.
Consults with the school psychologist for the purpose of file review findings.
Data entry for the purpose of rostering students, creating assessment windows, sending outlook invites to teams, printing graphs, and preparation of parent letter/team reports.
Data Entry of formal and informal scales/test scores into online scoring software programs for the purpose of rostering students and creating assessment windows.
Drafts communication for the purpose of a variety of audiences.
Interviews in person and administration of identified assessment tasks for the purpose of targeted populations.
Maintains for the purpose of daily files, paperwork, note taking, and ongoing documentation.
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the classroom/school.
Preparation of appropriate sections of paper and electronic scales, etc. for the purpose of
delivering//sending to respective people, managing return of scales.
Retrieval and delivery for the purpose of test kits, manuals, more protocols to those needing them.

Qualifications: 
Bachelor's degree in a job-related area
