Job Description:
The GST Multidistrict Special Education Unit is looking for a passionate and dedicated full-time Speech Language Pathologist to provide school-based speech-language services to PK-12 students at May-Port CG, one of our member schools districts. May-Port CG, located in Mayville, ND, is a short driving distance between both Grand Forks, and Fargo, making it an ideal work location for those who enjoy a small-town atmosphere but also want easy access to the amenities a larger community provides.
Responsibilities:
· Developing individualized education plans based on assessment results
· Providing direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups
· Monitoring progress and adjusting intervention strategies as needed
· Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication skills across education settings
· Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to the development of goals and objectives for students with communication disorders
· Completing Medicaid billing for eligible students
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
· Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
· Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals
