Job Description:

Under the direction of the Superintendent the principal is responsible for providing a guaranteed and viable exploratory curriculum and will supervise and evaluate teachers on the basis of teaching that curriculum. The principal will help to ensure that students are provided with an orderly and safe educational environment, conducive to learning, and free from unnecessary distractions and disruptions. In addition, the principal will support teachers in providing an engaging and personalized learning experience for students in order to improve student agency. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• ND Teaching License and Elementary and Secondary Principal Credential
• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with Educational Leadership/Administration preparation
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience
• Prior experience handling student management and behavioral issues with dignity, respect, and proper interpretation of organizational policies and procedures
• Ability to foster a collaborative and positive working relationship with students, staff, and the school community
• Experience with the W-H-H-W instructional framework
• Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred
